Unfortunately this project was not successful.

The aim of this project is to bring The Wild Earth Collective, Swansea's first zero-waste & vegan/cruelty-free store.

by THE WILD EARTH COLLECTIVE in Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom

 THE VISION
Here at The Wild Earth Collective, we want to bring fun and creativity to saving the planet! We want to work together to invent new and exciting ways to live more mindfully, taking care of the planet, our furry cohabitants and ourselves.
The Wild Earth Collective will be a 'local corner shop' type plastic-free shop in Swansea which will offer 50+ wholefoods that you can come and fill up on using your own (or our) jars and containers. We also sell homewares such as bamboo toothbrushes and metal straws and cleaning consumables for your home. In addition to these, our stocks include - vegan confectionary, selection of vegan chilled goods, stationary, candles, menstrual & personal hygiene products, eco-statement clothing, bags and even TOILET PAPER!
But deep at the heart of The Wild Earth Collective is a much more important purpose than a shop. It is an experience and a way of life. It is very important to me that early on in the adventures of TWE that we establish a community that will feed our creative natures way beyond that of our belly's! I intent to work closely with creative networks in Swansea and the surrounding areas to bring talks, workshops and seminars to the store to help us truly understand more, the journey of veganism, cruelty-free and ethical lifestyles. But I also want these sessions to touch upon female-empowerment, mindfulness, guided meditation, business start-ups and so on. We need to get our local communities truly involved in a movement of mindful living backed up by responsible consumerism.
the more you know, the less you need.
The Shop >> overall <<
The shop itself will be family-run and we will be at the shop every day making sure we are listening to all of your needs and ensuring the business is following it's true heart.
The wholefoods I am sourcing are from a UK-based wholesalers which are ethical and responsible in nature. Better yet, their incredible prices mean I can offer the best deals on foods making your zero-waste journey that little bit easier.
For all items such as soaps, personal hygiene, travel cutlery and so on, my AMAZING suppliers are all UK based (largely in Wales). Community is so important that I wish to put local independent brands at the heart of TWE. The thread that runs through of all of our businesses, intertwining us, is our drive for a more sustainable lifestyle and bringing harm to nothing and no-one. They too have offered me products at affordable prices so we you the best deals whilst assuring quality of products.
Our mission is sustainability, and to be sustainable, we have to be fair-priced. All of our goods are priced low to ensure you are not restricted or tempted to go back to plastic-fuelled shopping. Our store will be run by myself and family volunteers, and all of the profits made will be put back into the Wild Earth Collective so that we can continue bringing you the best products and explore other possibilities from the definite talks and workshops to the not-so-definite future coffee shop and brand collaborations.
