Nat West Pledge!
Good evening everyone,
I hope you've been enjoying father's day, showing the men in your life how much you appreciate them, or reflecting and remembering how wonderful they once were. We have spoilt Mr Cox!
I have some REALLY exciting news! Nat West Back Her Business are working in conjunction with Crowdfunder and have pledged £2,500 towards The Good Weigh! I'm in total shock to be honest, no catch at all, they just pledged because they like my idea and they are working to get more women into business. I still have to reach the original target of £5,000 - and there is still £460 to go, it's such a teeny weeny amount given how much The Good Weigh has raised in such a short space of time.
If you have been thinking that you are going to pledge, then please do. Me opening this store for the community is going to enable us all to do something positive to make for a better future for our kids and their kids. There are lots of these shops sprouting up all over the country now, if we all make some small changes to the way we do things we can all reduce our consumption of single waste plastic, it's that simple.
The stretch target of £8,000 will get the store a coffee grinder, a nut butter machine and some more organic lines - the majority of the goods sold in store will not be organic but I would like to offer some organic alternatives for people who only eat organic.
Thanks again to everyone who has pledged over the last few days since I last posted an update. I will always be grateful.
I'm soooooo excited :) only 41 sleeps until opening day (fingers crossed, although feeling quietly confident).
