- The aim and vision ; is to create a growing space for the community alongside running a business supplying all their plant/growing needs.
- Mental Health ; To provide a haven for neuro diverse children and adults to collect nature, use safe tools and a safe space to create their own masterpieces. With a late daignosis of ADHD and a lifetime of searching, I have discovered a love of gardening beyond anything that I have ever known.
- Employment ; we also aim to initially only offer employment to local young adults ages 16-23 and volunteering for all others. This would support creating opportunities for our youth. Currently, We use my garden to grow vegetables, share seedlings with the community for free.
- Community ; we have gathered a group of local supporters who take seedlings to people unable to come out, who collected donated used plant pots and have become a work team. We also scout worldwide for interesting flower, shrub, trees to grow and sell affordably. We started growing to share during the lock down. My son and I save and paint all the egg shells from our eggs. This we pass on freely, stuffed with cotton wool and sprinkled with watercress seeds. Children absolutely love this. We also collect conkers, acorns, pine cones and all natures gems. These we save and use to create all sorts of original works. We call it art but of course its subjective! We supply local schools with free seedlings and we would love to be able to do more of that.
These funds would help us to not only register and buy the right fixtures for our garden to produce maximum output but ensure that our community would continue to grow more. We would invest in our community so that our mental and physical health would be a teamwork in progress.
Help buy bulk compost, plant pots, organic pest control, more varieties of free vegetable seedlings, delivery bicycle and We would rent premises locally should We raise enough and advertise locally. Thank you so very much for enabling my dreams.
